About this Event
Meet new people, support your community and enjoy a day in nature ??
Sessions include gardening and animal care tasks; such as harvesting, weeding, mucking out and feeding!
- Bring clothes you don’t mind getting dirty ?. There are some welly boots and jackets that we can provide if needed. And there will be protective gloves available.
- Please make sure you bring enough warm / dry / comfortable clothes and shoes to work outside during your volunteering day.
- It is advisable to wear sun protection (lotion/sunglasses/hats) ? and to bring a bottle of water to have in the break.
- There will be a locked room to leave any bags or coats etc.
Please make sure you sign up as capacity is limited.
Meeting point: In front of the art studios/toilets at about 12.50.
The farm entrance is located on Stepney Way. Enter into the farm, walk straight down past the cafe and office to the main yard space on your right where we will meet. We will start at 1pm, when everyone has arrived, please let us know if you are unable to make it.
