About this Event
Join us at the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park for some outdoor volunteering! Team up with fellow nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts and help us maintain the park's trails and facilities.
*Please be prepared for light-to-moderate physical activity and bring weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen and water. Pit restrooms will be available.
Each Friends' Day will also have an educational aspect, such as plant & animal identification, native plant relocation, wildlife study methods, principles of trail-making, and more.
The Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park is owned and operated by the non-profit Asombro Institute for Science Education. It is free for the public to visit and open year-round.
