About this Event

Join us at the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park on Saturday, April 12th from 8 - 11 a.m. for some outdoor volunteering! Team up with fellow nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts and help us maintain the park's trails and facilities.

*Please be prepared for light-to-moderate physical activity and bring weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen and water. Pit restrooms will be available.

Each Friends' Day will also have an educational aspect, such as plant & animal identification, native plant relocation, wildlife study methods, principles of trail-making, and more.

The Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park is owned and operated by the non-profit Asombro Institute for Science Education. It is free for the public to visit and open year-round.
