Please join us Sunday as we build up our urban farm-based nonprofit, EmpoweRanch, for our outdoor educational and therapeutic recreation programs!Volunteer for any amount of time between 9am-11am. We have projects for all ages and abilities. For the safety and health of our animals and yours, please do not bring pets (service animals only - please advise if bringing a service animal so we can accommodate as our ranch dogs often attend our volunteer days).

Please WEAR: boots/closed-toe shoes, comfortable weather-appropriate clothes that you don't mind getting dirty or painted on, sunscreen/hat/sunglasses
Please BRING: Water/drinks, work/garden gloves, any garden tools, and snacks. We are accepting donations of straw bales, pallets, paint/brushes, 10x10 shed or larger, wood for raised gardens/signs, drip irrigation system, plants, seeds, and garden supplies.
? If you're a gardener and would like aged "happy horse compost", we're giving it away by the bag or truckload! ?
If you're hungry, you can also visit The Farm at South Mountain next door for farm-to-table fare!
As always, we will have handwash stations and hand sanitizer available. We're following local and national guidelines for the outdoors, and we request that everyone respect each other's space and health while on property.

Volunteer projects may include:
-BUILDING our flock play space
-PAINTING pallets, signs, etc. (please wear paint-ready clothes! Paint and brush/roller donations welcome!)
-GROOMING our horses and lavishing them in love and attention
-FILLING bird feeders and hummingbird feeders
-GARDENING (green thumbs and brown thumbs welcome! Donations of cuttings, seedlings, etc. are appreciated!)
-Garden ARTS and CRAFTS - painted garden labels, etc.
-LANDSCAPING - W**d-eating/mowing, lopping/sawing tree branches, pulling weeds-CLEANING and CONDITIONING tack (horse equipment)
-ORGANIZING and LABELING tack and other equipment
-RAKING
-Horse poo SCOOPIN' crew - for the kids who just love scoopin' poo, or those of us crazy horse people that find solace in the monotony of scooping horse manure
-AND much more! ?

Bring your kiddos that need volunteer hours for school, or simply want to come out and be a part of an amazing contribution to this community. Kids under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
