Volunteer as a Community Welfare Responder

Are you ready to make a difference in your community? Do you have spare time to help us prioritise ambulances to the sickest in the community and support people access hospitals through other clinical pathways?

Join us as part of this exciting new project being rolled out in Swansea, Llanelli, Neath and Port Talbot in 2024. At this event you can sign up to volunteer as a Community Welfare Responder. Help those in need, by visiting them in their home to carryout clinical observations and feedback to a remote clinican who can decide the best clinical pathway for the patient.

You will get to help patients when they are feeling at their most vulnerbale and to support their welfare as they wait an ambulance or transfer to hospital.

This in-person event is a great opportunity to find out more about the role and meet volunteers who are already involved in the project as part of the first in take.
