It is said that it takes a village to raise a Makespace, and our village has certainly worked hard to bring us here. The time is upon us to celebrate them!Join us for a special extended edition of Friday Social Hour on November 21, 2025, where we can reminisce on the obstacles faced and overcome, the mistakes and moments of joy, and chat on all the paths forward we can envision and work towards. As usual, all Yukonstruct members are encouraged to come down to the Makespace lounge between 4:30 and 6:30 for light refreshments (sponsored by Yukon Brewing) and snacks. If you have thought about volunteering with us, we will be offering information on the opportunities available. Active and past volunteers are welcome to share some of their experiences as well.
From 6:30 to 9:30, the fun continues for those who have volunteered over the past year. A meal will be provided and there will be open-ended maker opportunities throughout the evening. Door prizes, skills demonstrations, and more will be featured as well! If you have a skill you would like to share, please reach out to the email address below.
Invitations with the appropriate access code will be sent by email during the week of November 3, 2025. Please register where possible to allow us to plan accordingly. If you have not received an email by November 10, 2025 and have volunteer experience with Yukonstruct's Makespace, please reach out to [email protected] to have this resolved.
