Osceola History is hosting an evening dedicated to the volunteers that have helped us throughout the year. We are extending this invitation to the general public to give others the opportunity to mingle amongst some of the people who volunteer for us to see if it would be something you'd enjoy doing as well.
There will be light refreshments served along with the opportunity to see our latest special exhibit "Cooking Up History" and you'll hear a presentation from Louie Bears' Heart, Park Services Specialist at Hillsborough River State Park.
Louie has been a long standing volunteer for us at our annual Pioneer Day. We deeply appreciate him dedicating his time for this event as well. It will be a great presentation on the Seminoles and how they survived off of the land.
If volunteering has been something you've been curious about then this is the event to come to! Get your questions answered, sign up for any future events we need volunteers for, and eat some great food including recipes from a local pioneer family to celebrate our special exhibit.
Please RSVP by May 1st if you'd like to join us. Email Steve at [email protected] to RSVP.
