14th June has been declared as "WORLD BLOOD DONOR DAY”, by the United Nations, commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr Carl Landsteiner, the founder of ABO Blood Group. Since the last four (4) years (2020, 2022, 2023 & 2024)we organized Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on 14th June at the historic Brigade Parade Ground, beside Gate No 1 of Maidan Metro Station, in the north-west corner of Eliot Park. Last year on 14th June, 2024, in the said camp 250 people voluntarily donated blood.
However, this year (2025), we have planned to organize the Blood Donation Camp at SHAHEED MINAR MAIDAN, Dharmatala, Kolkata (in front of Shaheed Minar) on 14th June, 2025, Saturday from 10.00 am to 04.00 pm.
All the cordially invited to the event. Donate blood and save a valuable life!
