About the Resource Fair

The 'Voices United: Ending Silence Together' Resource Fair will take place on April 21st, 2024, from 11am - 3pm at Pierce College. Through collaborative community efforts, we hope to bring awareness, resources, and information for survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. We will be providing self-care activities, music, access to food vendors, a mobile clinic, a survivor's art exhibit, and resource tables for community members to explore and enjoy. This event is to honor survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence and provide preventative skills and education to local community members to lower the prevalence rate of sexual assault and reduce stigma around conversations relating to sexual assault.

About the Survivor's Art Exhibit

Haven Hills and Sojourn (The People Concern's Domestic Violence program) wanted 'Voices United: Ending Silence Together' to offer more than just resources to the community, but also a space for survivors to have their voices heard. It is the hope of our two agencies to accomplish this goal by curating an exhibit which features original artwork by survivors of sexual assualt, domestic violence, or family violence.

The artwork will be displayed in a designated space at the fair, allowing attendees to immerse themselves in the experiences of survivors. There will be a sign at the entrance to the exhibit space, providing attendees with information on the exhibit, a trigger warning for fellow survivors on the subject of the artwork, and a caution to families with children in case there may be pieces that are not appropriate for younger attendees.

Please submit artwork to be featured in the exhibit by clicking HERE.
