On Sunday, September 28th at 4:00 p.m., Voices presents “Palestrina at 500!” Dr. William Weinert leads this professional choir in a program honoring the 500th anniversary of the birth of Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, one of the foremost composers of the Renaissance. In addition to works by Palestrina, we’ll hear pieces by composers that he influenced over the centuries, including Bach, Brahms, Poulenc, and Bruckner. Admission is free.
