Life at university and beyond can be relentless—especially for Black students, staff, and alumni navigating pressures that often go unseen. This unique evening invites you to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself in a nurturing, restorative setting.

Led by Adriana Lord—Cuban Afro-Latina singer, poet, and arts & health practitioner—this workshop blends soothing live music, guided reflection, and collective storytelling to replenish your energy and ground your spirit.

Adriana is a Cuban Afro-Latina artist whose work spans music, poetry, and community healing. She has performed everywhere from BBC and Netflix to Brighton Festival and Ronnie Scott’s. In recent years, she has become a recognised Arts & Health practitioner, using her artistry to support mental health and collective well-being—especially within Black and marginalised communities.

Her workshops are described as “transformative,” “soul-restoring,” and “exactly what I needed.”
