Confederation Centre of the Arts and the PEI Legion Choir present Voices of Remembrance — a moving musical tribute marking both Remembrance Day and the Royal Canadian Legion’s 100th Anniversary.This special concert brings together the PEI Legion Choir, the Confederation Centre Adult Choir, and the Prince Edward Island Regiment (RCAC) Band, directed by Captain Rory O’Donnell, for a powerful afternoon of reflection and celebration. The program features works by Robert Buckley, Leo Marchildon, Oscar Peterson, and Leon Dubinsky, woven with readings of poetry, letters, and personal stories that honour service and sacrifice.
The event begins with a ceremonial Colour Party representing PEI Legion Branches, joined by guests from the Canadian Dominion Command. Members of the PEI Air Cadets will also be on hand to welcome attendees.
Legion members and active or retired service members are eligible for a $20 ticket. Please contact the Box Office in person or by phone at 902-566-1267 to obtain this special rate. Seating is limited — early purchase is encouraged.
Following the concert, guests are invited to a light lunch to gather, share stories, and reflect in community.
