About this Event

The Voices of Our Town

For the first time, The Orchestra on the Hill and Chorus North Shore will embark on an exciting musical collaboration in celebration of our North Shore home. The concert will explore the concept of "voice" as both a vehicle for song and a means to express a personal vision or viewpoint. Repertoire will include eight original works that capture the character of our community and its unique set of qualities, passions, and concerns. Together, we will discover and celebrate the voices of our neighbors through music and song.

Featured composers include Abby Frost, Mary Koppel, G.Paul Naeger, Jerry Gates, Stephen Moore, Chris Florio, Thomas Palance - and authors Cynthia August and Doug Brendel.
