About this Event

Join us in celebrating the International Day of the Girl Child with an inspiring evening of conversation and connection. Voices in Design brings together a dynamic panel of multidisciplinary professionals from across the built environment sector to explore how inclusive design can shape a better future for girls and young women.

This special event is a collaboration between Building Female, Leeds Society of Architects, and the Young Architectural Practitioners Forum - three networks joining forces for the first time to champion equity and innovation in the industry.

Expect thought-provoking discussion, networking opportunities, and complimentary drinks and nibbles—all hosted at Arup’s offices at 11 & 12 Wellington Place, Leeds.

Tickets are £5, with all proceeds donated to Make Space for Girls - a charity campaigning for parks and public spaces to be designed with teenage girls in mind, challenging the default approach to public space and advocating for inclusive environments.
