The Huni Kuin from the Novo Futuro village deep in the Amazon have received their knowledge and wisdom over many thousands of years from the rainforest the rivers the plants the elements trees and animals. They are the true caretakers guardians and protectors of the Amazon Rainforest plant medicines & spiritual traditions.
The event at Portico Gallery will be hosted by Terroll Lewis (local community leader and creator of Brixton Street Gym) who’s own journey has been impacted by the medicine work of the Huni Kuin. This event is to raise awareness and funds for projects in the Brazilian forest.
Wednesday 29 June will be a special evening of music and conversation with Terroll and spiritual leaders (Pajés) Txana Tuwe Txana Yube and Biruani Siriani who will be performing original music and prayers from 7pm - 10pm at Portico Gallery in South London sharing powerful messages that will contribute to our individual collective and planetary healing.
This is an opportunity to spend time with these leaders learn about their sacred culture tradition and ancient knowledge exchanging ideas and perspectives on the indigenous cosmological vision integral health and spirituality of humanity.
