Join WRISE Colorado and Scout Clean Energy for an in-person panel discussion centering on safety — both psychological and physical — for women in the renewable energy industry. Safety is a top priority in our sector, but discussions are often framed around technical or procedural terms. This event will create space for a more personal and nuanced conversation: what does safety really look like in the field for women, across the many roles and situations they navigate?

Titled "Voices from the Field: Promoting Psychological & Physical Safety for Women in the Industry," this discussion will feature women working in development, land acquisition, engineering, origination, construction, and operations as they share candid stories, insights, and lessons from their day-to-day work — whether they’re on a project site, negotiating leases, engaging with stakeholders, or navigating professional settings like conferences and networking events. Panelists will explore how safety concerns manifest in real-life scenarios, how the industry can improve, and how women are leading efforts to make the field safer and more inclusive for all.Event Schedule:• 5:00 PM | Doors open• 5:00 – 5:30 | Networking & transportation buffer• 5:30 – 6:15 PM | Panel discussion (please arrive on time!)• 6:15 – 7:30 PM | Networking happy hourLight snacks and alcoholic beverages will be provided during the post-panel networking hour. This is a free event, but registration is required, and space is limited based on capacity.

Getting There:Scout’s Boulder office is located on the 29th Street Mall. The door to our office is between Anthropologie and Nopalitos. Look for Scout staff at the entrance who will help guide you up the stairs to the “Snowmass” room. Free public parking is available directly in front of the main entrance.
