T2 presents a variety of voices in this unforgettable show including two new collaborative works, a new dance film, a free pre-show performance, and back by popular demand Lost & Found – a poetry/dance collaboration.This show includes a collaboration with local artist, Grace Gee. This collaboration will bring her work Bubbling Up to the stage incorporating visual arts, sculpture, and dance through an exploration of racial divides. Grace’s work will inform the choreography that the T2 Dancers will perform alongside large versions of the bubble sculptures. Dancers will interact and deconstruct the sculptures presenting a metaphor for the breaking down of racial injustices that the work hopes to achieve.
This collaborative work will be performed at the Dairy Arts Center on November 16, 2024, along with other works from T2 including a new collaboration with Jamal Jackson Dance Company, a NY contemporary dance company focused on African American culture.
