He is an alumnus of Patha-Bhavana, Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan (West Bengal), and has completed his diploma in acting from the Roshan Taneja School of Acting, Mumbai. As a former faculty member at the Roshan Taneja School of Acting, Shantam specialized in teaching breath and voice exercises while also conducting singing classes for actors at the institute. Currently, he facilitates his own Breath and Voice Workshop, titled “Gyr-Grer / Khusur-Phusur”. This workshop is uniquely designed not just for performing artists but for anyone who actively uses their voice. In Mumbai, Shantam has also collaborated with organizations like the Artistic Human Theatre Group and Poinsur Gymkhana, Borivali, to conduct breath and voice training sessions. __________________ We are so excited that you have chosen to spend your weekend with us!
