Come join VOCC for a women's mountain bike group ride at the Shelden Mountain Bike Fest at Stony Creek Metropark in Rochester, MI.Two Ride Options - both start at 6:30pm from the VOCC tent setup by the main trailhead:
Beginner Friendly: Ride Beach and Bee Line Trails ~ 5 miles total. This ride is for those who are newer to mountain biking and/or those who are looking for a shorter/easier ride option.
Intermediate Plus: Ride all the single track Shelden trails has to offer! This ride is for those who are comfortable riding 11+ miles of technical singletrack. A handlebar and helmet light are recommended as sunset will be just after 8pm.
All group rides are no-drop with a leader and sweeper.
You are also welcome to ride on your own and enjoy your favorite trails and route
This event is for women and non-binary folks who feel comfortable in a femme space. Come meet like-minded riders, make new friends, and celebrate the joy of mountain biking in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. You will need an annual pass to enter the park, or pay for a day pass at the entrance ticket booth.
