Judy Niemack, author of the well-known "Hear It and Sing it!" Vocal Jazz books, former Professor of Vocal Jazz at the Jazz Institut Berlin, and known as an outstanding vocalist/educator, will present a workshop for jazz vocalists at the Music VIllage in Brussels from 1Pm to 5PM on Saturday, April 27th. Students will be accompanied by master jazz guitarist, Jeanfrançois Prins. All levels welcome, must be able to sing a jazz standard.The afternoon will start with 30 minutes of improvisation and technique exercises from Judy's new book, "Hear It and Sing it! Singing In Tune".
Bring 2 copies of lead-sheet to a jazz song you will sing with guitar accompaniment. Each student will have 20 minutes to work on their song with Judy, and will get feedback and suggestions.
