We are pleased to invite you to participate to ImproIncanto: an experiential workshop on circlesongs and collaborative vocal improvisation for musicians or anyone interested in exploring the inner voice and make it sound freely through the art of musical improvisation.Participants will be guided in the exploration of their own vocal potential in one mode of creating music that encourages self-expression, movement, mutual listening and well-being. The experience focuses on the four macro elements that lay the foundation of musical arrangement: melody, rhythm, harmony and sound.
During the week end we will:
- deepen harmonic, rhythmic and timbral skills
- create extemporaneous vocal ensembles
- increase creative skills
- discover the relational dynamics towards the self and others
- learn techniques and methods that can be applied both in musical and relational contexts in general
- connect to other people through singing
- learn how to structure a circle composition (circlesong)
- sing!
WHAT TO EXPECT
SATURDAY the 15th
9.30 am Welcome
10.00 am - 1.00 pm morning session
1.00 - 2.00 pm lunch (bring something for yourself or to be shared with others)
2.00 - 5.00 pm afternoon session
6.00 - 7.30 pm Circle singing open to all the community (free for weorkshop participants, 10€ for new people)
SUNDAY the 16th
9.30 Waking up
10.00 am - 1.00 pm morning session
1.00 - 2.00 pm lunch (bring something for yourself or to be shared with others like the day before!)
2.00 - 5.00 pm afternoon session
5.00 pm presentation and sharing of the artistic work by the workshop participants open to friends and people in general

The price for two days of workshop is €150
If you feel you can contribute more to support this artistic activity you can pay what you think you can
If this is a difficult moment in life for you, but you would love to participate (we'd love you to!), you can offer the contribution you feel you can support from €120
The non-refundable registration fee is 70 euros, the rest can be paid at a later time or on the day the workshop starts.
