Attention all singers and choir enthusiasts! You are cordially invited to join us for an inspiring evening as we explore our individual and collective voices. Erika Tazawa (KSU, Emory), will be leading our session with warm-ups, group evaluation, and Q&A. We will also provide tea and snacks, so arrive early. Let's enhance the gift of voice that we have been blessed with together.Erika Tazawa is the assistant director of choral activities at Kennesaw State University, where she conducts the Chamber Singers, Chorale, and Men’s Ensemble. Tazawa is a doctoral candidate in choral conducting at University of Georgia, and prior to her appointment at KSU, she served on faculty at Emory University. Tazawa enjoys a versatile and collaborative musical career, actively performing as a conductor, pianist, vocal coach, and guest clinician. She is a core member of the contemporary music ensemble Bent Frequency, regularly performs with the Atlanta Symphony and the Atlanta Opera, and conducts the KSU Community Chorus.
