VOBA Professional Wheel Building Training
September 22 and 24: 6:00 - 8:00 pm

Are you a current employee of a Vermont bike shop or prospective employee in a bike shop offering wheel service to customers?
The goals of this two-session course are to solidify an understanding of classic wheel anatomy, what makes a strong and healthy wheel assembly, and how to enable professional mechanics to find the resources to provide world class wheel service to customers.
The training is organized by the Vermont Outdoor Business Alliance and funded by an Economic Development Administration - Travel, Tourism and Outdoor Recreation grant through the Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing.
Eligibility:
- Will regularly be working with customers on bike sales and service;
- Current employee in a VOBA bike shop;
- Prospective employee in a VOBA bike shop;
- Has had 6 months of experience in bike wheel sales/service; or
- Comes from an under-represented community (women, BIPOC, LGBTQ, etc.)
Details:
- Please do not register if you cannot commit to full participation of the two sessions.
- Participants must attend both sessions to complete the course and receive a VOBA Professional Wheel Building Training Certificate of Completion
