VMBSG Women's Network Workshop: Navigating the VBA Registration Process for Building Inspectors and Surveyors

Please join the VMBSG Women’s Network for a legal workshop hosted by Geelong City Council and presented by the VBA.

The event will be held on 28 August 2028 from 10:30 – 1:00 pm with networking and light refreshments from 10.00am prior to the commencement of the event.

Speakers from the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) will present an overview of important information to help you apply for registration in a class of building inspector or building surveyor.

The topics covered during the presentation by the VBA will include:

1. registration eligibility requirements;
2. evidence to gather in preparation for your application;
3. how to apply for registration; and
4. an overview of the assessment process.

The event will also include recent registration experiences from VMBSG members and a panel will be convened to allow for questions and discussions regarding the registration process from the VBA and those who have recently gone through the process.

We look forward to seeing you at 10:00 am on Wednesday 28 August 2024 for networking before the official commencement of the event at 10:30 am.
