On Friday, 15 August, join Stotfold Town Council to commemorate VJ Day.At 9am, we will be joined by the The Stotfold and Arlesey Royal British Legion to a lay a wreath at the war memorial, followed by the raising of the VJ Day flag at the cemetery and Greenacre Centre.
At 12 noon, we will be observing a 2 minute silence at the Greenacre Centre, including the cafe and library.
There will be a service at 7pm in Stotfold Parish Church
We invite residents to join us in these moments of reflection and remembrance for all those who served and sacrificed.
