Following the history of WWII British military Far East captivity with an emphasis on the medical and psychological aspects of survival, both during captivity and the post-war years.Exploring the wider subejct of how FEPOW's survived and held onto hope in the face of adversity. Importantly, it will also trace the role of generations of doctors and scientists at The School of Tropical Medicine in caring for the former FEPOW patients.
This event is free but donations are welcome to the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal.
