✨ A Night of Art, Connection + Discovery
Step into the moonlit magic of Vizcaya Late—your midweek escape into creativity, music, and new perspectives. This month’s theme, Creative Connections, invites you to explore Vizcaya like never before, with hands-on art, music by the bay, and an interactive artist-led experience that turns books into conversation starters.
The highlight of the evening? “Photo Book Speed Date,” a playful, artist-led experience by Miami-based photographer Josh Aronson.
Designed to foster connection through a shared love of photography and art books, this activity mimics traditional speed dating—minus the romance. Bring a favorite photo or art book and share selected pages in quick, timed rounds, sparking brief but meaningful conversations inspired by images, stories, and personal reflections.
🎨 WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Photo Book Speed Date with artist Josh Aronson – bring your favorite art/photo book and connect through shared stories, images, and reflection
- Wander the estate by night – explore the Main House and gardens under the stars
- Live music by the waterfront to set the mood
- Art-making stations for all ages—create something to take home
Whether you're an art lover, a nature seeker, or just in need of a vibe shift, this night is designed to spark joy, insight, and connection.

ABOUT JOSH ARONSON
Josh Aronson is a Miami-based artist whose work examines identity, community, and belonging. Raised in Miami, he discovered photography as a high schooler, later developing a practice that reimagines masculinity and the American South through staged narrative photographs. Drawing from archival imagery and personal experience, he collaborates with Miami’s emerging arts community, casting local talent and inviting participants to perform in his images. Beyond his photographic practice, Aronson cultivates artistic dialogue through public programs. He founded Photo Book Speed Share, now in its fourth iteration, to connect South Florida’s arts community through a shared engagement with photography books. He also organizes weekly art clubs and museum library visits, creating spaces for collaboration and creative exchange.
