The VIVO Season 10 finale is co-presented with Chamber Music Columbus! Set in the gorgeous and acoustically phenomenal Southern Theatre, this program features the full force of VIVO artists. Also featured is the premiere of a new chamber work by Brazilian composer, Marcos Balter. The work was co-commissioned by VIVO Music Festival, Library of Congress and Paris-based Ensemble Intercontemporain.
Artists include violist Milena Pajaro van-de Stadt (former violist of the Dover Quartet), hornist David Byrd (Professor of Horn, Oberlin Conservatory), cellist Brannon Cho (winner of Queen Elisabeth International Competition), clarinetist Gabriel Campos Zamora (Principal Clarinet, Minnesota Orchestra) and locally grown musicians such as violinist Isabelle Ai Durrenberger, pianist Anna Polonsky, violinist Alicia Hui, violinist Siwoo Kim and violist John Stulz.
