Vivian Pérez is a Cuban pianist and arranger based in Stockholm, and Luz D’Habana is the unique Afro-Cuban jazz band she founded in 2013 in Havana, Cuba. Pérez has quickly become a force to be reckoned with on the Swedish music scene, and on November 22, she will perform an after-work gig in Lilla studion as part of the Global Sounds Festival!She has released two albums, one EP, and toured in Central America. Today, the band is based in Sweden and consists of five members from Cuba, Sweden, Argentina, Chile, and Colombia, who have joined to blend Cuban music with pop, rap, funk, soul, reggae, and more.
