Swami Vivekananda's birthday will be celebrated with a 16-item worship starting in the temple by 11:00 am. At 12:45 pm there will be a homa fire in the convent, followed by prasad lunch. Everyone is welcome.Swami Vivekananda introduced "Hinduism" to the west at the Parliament of World Religions in Chicago, in 1893. Swami Vivekananda was the foremost disciple of Sri Ramakrishna and formally organized Ramakrishna Math and Mission.
