Jenna Reel — piano, Katie Carson — trumpet, Jack Early — bassThe Jenna Reel Trio is an up-and-coming group on the Cincinnati music scene, mixing funk, R&B, and neo-soul influences into a jazz setting. Together, the group has performed all kinds of music, from that inspired by the Clifford Brown and Max Roach sound to math rock and the jazz + pop crossover movement.
The group consists of touring trumpet player and Cincinnati native Katie Carson, who specializes in Afro-Latin music and is known for her melodic sound. Accompanying her is Jack Early, sought-after jazz and pop bassist in the community, recognized by his creative Eddie Gomez-Esque interactions. Jenna Reel, pianist, and vocalist, leads the group with a focus on arrangement and the journey of the music. She is an Atlanta-born jazz musician, composer, and recording artist having played across the East Coast and in the 2019 Nancy Jazz Pulsations Festival in Nancy, France.
$10 drink minimum charged per person in the party, per set, if the total for beverages purchased by the party does not meet the minimum.
