A delicious activity for the young ones! This Carnival Heritage Malta is inviting children aged 7 years and older to celebrate these colourful days in a unique way, with a hands-on culinary experience at the Inquisitor’s Palace.
Held on Tuesday, 4th March 2025, this 2-hour cookalong session invites participants to learn how to make Prinjolata, the iconic Maltese dessert loved during the Carnival season. Two sessions will be taking place: the first between 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, and a second one between 2:30 pm– 4:30 pm.
Led by our skilled instructor, the participating young ones will be guided through every step to craft this festive treat, where pine nuts shine as a key ingredient. This session blends the vibrant spirit of Carnival with the delight of hands-on baking.
Tickets are priced at €30, with a maximum of 16 participants per session to ensure an engaging and personalized experience. Each ticket includes admission for an accompanying adult. Please note that the venue has limited accessibility (stairs only).
Participants are to bring a container to safely transport their homemade Prinjolata, and share your creation with friends and family. Important allergy information: This activity involves ingredients such as eggs, gluten, nuts, and dairy.
