In the UK alone, 10.7 million pigs are slaughtered every year and the majority are gassed to death. No older than six months, they are crammed into hard metal cages and lowered into the suffocating confines of a gas chamber. Carbon dioxide floods their lungs and it is so corrosive that as they struggle for breath, it reacts with the moisture in their eyes, nostrils, mouths, throats and lungs to form an acid which burns, making them feel as though they are being scorched from the inside out. Please join us on the high street as part of our national campaign β we will be talking to the public about the atrocities of pig farming and how by making simple changes, we can transition to a more compassionate and kinder way of living.

Please join us in Swindon town centre to spread the message of animal justice and discuss with people how they can make active steps to move towards a kinder world. We will meet near Lloyds Bank on Regent Street and be sharing food samples and leaflets to show them how easy yet necessary it is to become vegan.
We are a friendly, growing group and always love to welcome new volunteers, so please come along or message us with any questions if you've not attended an outreach event before. It can be daunting but very rewarding once you've taken your first steps, plus you get to make new friends and hang out with fellow vegans for the afternoon!
You don't need to bring anything but we do try to create a uniform look by all wearing black tops if at all possible, though we'd much prefer to see you there in any colour if that's not possible!
Thank you, and we hope to see you out on the streets βΊοΈπ±π·
