The National Museum of Mexican Art in collaboration with Mather present Viva la Vida, a monthly workshop series tailored for adults 55+!
About this Event

Adults ages 55+ are invited to join us for an immersive experience in the galleries, followed by an art-making activity. This month, we will highlight Día de Muertos: A Celebration of Remembrance in our Main Gallery. In this workshop, we will use natural dyes like turmeric to create free-hand or stencil drawings on amate paper. Amate is a type of bark paper, used in Mexico for centuries!

Coffee and treats will be provided from local establishments. This program is free, but registration is required. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].
