Stanford Philharmonia under the direction of music director Paul Phillips performs Respighi's Antiche Danze ed Arie per Liuto, Suite I; Stravinsky's Pulcinella; and celebrates the centenary of Italian composer Luciano Berio (1925-2003) with a performance of his Corale featuring violin soloist Alexander Goldberg. The vocal soloists in Pulcinella are HaYoung Jung, mezzo-soprano; Nicolas Vasquez-Gerst, tenor; and Glenn Healy, bass. A performance of Charles Koechlin's Septet for Wind Instruments, led by assistant conductor Sean Tan '27, rounds out the program.
