Visual Storytelling Workshop with Sony Cinematographer Reza Malayeri

This workshop includes both an online presentation with a review of the Pre-Production process, as well as an on-location workshop, to capture the story of a proposal.

During the in-person workshop, Reza will show you how to apply the knowledge he is presenting online on March 28th on pre-production.

Reza will provide hands-on instruction on how to execute the pre-production plan discussed in the online presentation to capture moments and scenes of a couple as they get engaged.

Attendees will have the opportunity to apply their knowledge, capture their own footage, ask questions, and get one-on-one feedback from Reza.

If you’ve been wanting to learn how to plan, prepare, and capture a complete visual story, this on-location workshop will give you valuable insight into how all of the elements come together.

Reza will share his fundamental pre-production process, including why you should create shot lists, scout locations, capture compelling b-roll, choose the best audio options, and more.

Registered attendees will receive a zoom link for this presentation, as well as access to the recording.

This will take place in Seattle, registered attendees will receive location details as well as a list of recommended gear in advance of the in-person workshop.

Reza Malayeri is a professional Sony Alpha photographer, cinematographer, and educator based in Seattle WA. He’s an expert in a number of creative fields, including wedding photography, portrait photography, cinematography, and is an FAA Part 107 Remote Drone Pilot. As an educator, Reza's aim is to provide compelling educational content that inspires and empowers creators. He specializes in taking advanced photography and cinematography techniques, and teaching them in an entertaining and easy-to-understand manner.

In the event of a refund, Eventbrite Fees are not refundable. Eventbrite fees are only refunded if an event is canceled.

We will issue a full refund up to 4 days before the event date; or a 50% refund up to the day of the event, if however, if we are able to fill the spot, we may issue a full refund. No-shows will not be refunded. Refunds are unavailable post-event date.
