About this Event
What to expect
Join Heart Comonos for an evening of storytelling and creativity as we explore the connection between interpretation and the power to change our own narratives.
A visual story circle is an exercise in creativity in which participants use images to build a shared story around a fictional character that we invent together.
Working in small groups, participants will explore the character’s story, their conflicts, their internal dialogues, and supportive growth-focused ways that a narrative may unfold. By helping a fictional character reframe the challenges they confront by considering alternative possibilities, participants will practice their own emotional problem-solving skills in a fun and creative way that will strengthen our powers of compassions, empathy, interpretation, an connection!
In this storytelling circle, we gather to slow down, imagine together, and let meaning unfold naturally. Through story, we create space for clarity, compassion, and healing.
Come as you are, with curiosity, and allow the story to unfold.
About Our Facilitator:
Uzma has always been drawn to people’s stories. As a writer and newspaper contributor, she was always moved by exploring lived experiences, and weaving them into thoughtful narratives. She brings this same curiosity to her work as a certified training and development professional with a background in adult learning.
If you can no longer make it to the event, please cancel your ticket to allow others a chance to attend. Thank you!
