Come join us for an in-person workshop on visual effects hosted by Brandon Dohner from Pixel Planet Studios on February 20! Brandon will be demystifying the VFX process to make it more approachable in your own projects.

We'll be looking at best practices when shooting for VFX and what makes some shots more complicated than others. We'll cover shooting clean plates, tracking markers, screen replacements, types of tracking, set extensions, green screen vs rotoscoping, and lots of other tips and tricks.

So next time if you don't have a visual effects supervisor on set or a shot comes up that you haven't had a chance to go over with a VFX team in pre-production (and Brandon wants to emphasize that you absolutely should do both of these) you'll have some basic knowledge to help further down the pipeline.

And you'll have a chance to ask Brandon any questions about visual effects following his presentation. Afterwards, we'll have a general mixer to talk & network with the industry.
