The fee for the class is $65. The workshop will start with a short demo, then together, we all can slap-on paint with a palette knife onto canvas while experiencing the joy of art! List of materials needed for workshop...
I’m not concerned with specific paint colors needed for class...the object of this workshop is “what you can do with leftover paint.” All I ask is you have these paint colors available: Brown, yellow, black, red, crimson, orange, blue, green and lots of white. If you want to bring a purple, burnt sienna (think of your favorite horse color) or different shades of green (think grass/trees)
and/or different shades of blue (think skies) bring those colors too.
Paper Plate or paint pallet
Paper towels
water bucket
some (2-3) small brushes
(no 0-2) that are in medium to bad
condition. Only one new detail brush is needed.
Palette knives: I like using Style 6T, Trowel (2-1/8" Blade) or #10 palette knife. I like the pointy trowel shape for my palette painting. If you visit Jerry’s Artarama website, they have Painter's Edge Stainless Steel Painting Knife Basic Set of 5 is perfect for class and for your studio. My only “must bring item” is a similar palette knife to the Style 6T, Trowel (2-1/8" Blade) pictured on Jerry’s website.
