This special painting workshop will be led by visiting artist, Delaney Thomas. She will guide you, step by step, in painting the fall scene that is shown on the plate. Of course you will have opportunity to add your own flare too!This plate will be food safe as well as having a hanger on the back to display. The plate will take a couple weeks to fire and then you will be notified by text for pick-up.
Visiting Artist Bio:
Delaney Marie Thomas is a whimsical artist originally from Prescott, Arizona. In 2016, she moved to Tucson and graduated in 2020 with a BFA in Art and Visual Culture Education. Her artistic creations mainly feature watercolor and acrylic, inspired by children's storybooks and fairy tales. In 2022, she moved to Kentucky, drawn by her heritage, as her great-grandparents once owned a farm in Ohio before settling in the Southwest. Delaney has experience teaching art to both children and adults, bringing a playful spirit to her work. She has also organized showcases to support community artists and charitable causes. Additionally, she holds a degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from Arizona State University.
