it's that time of year again time for another visit to the national railway museum in York. starting at 10 (or whenever you can arrive) we will bimble around the museum followed by a group photograph at 12 by the mallard steam engine then at 1 we shall promenade to the shambles area where we can disperse into smaller individual groups and shop/eat/ drink whatever takes your fancy (of course if you don't want to leave the museum that is fine too) then on the Sunday for those staying over I was thinking of a trip to the Jorvik centre at 11. please note I would advise that you pre book a ticket to the museum on the national railway museum website it is free and helps the museum control numbers
