🚨Visit to the Conservation Labs of National Museum🚨Come and see the conservation laboratories of the National Museum of Denmark, only 1½ km from DTU!
We will introduce some of the research carried out at the museum, including
🥽 Degradation of plastics – by Yvonne Shashoua
⚓ Conservation of wooden shipwrecks such as viking ships and the Vasa – by Martin Mortensen
🗡Conservation of archaeological iron using chemical, physical and biological methods – by Henning Matthiesen
After an introduction we will give a tour of our laboratories and conservation workshops
👨🔬👩🔬 Both Yvonne and Martin are former PhD students from the Polymer Centre at DTU!
