About this Event
Join Compass Point home of Dirty Girl Adventures on Saturday January 11th, for a visit to the amazing Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge. It's worth the drive to take in the amazing display of migratory birds visible at this wonderful location.
We will spend some time on the trail together, exploring the Loess Bluffs. From there we will enter the 10 mile driving loop which allows for more short hikes and amazing views.
Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge is just past St. Joseph in Northwest Missouri. This is an amazing place to visit at any time, but it is extra special at this time of year as migratory birds visit.
We will meet at the Welcome Center and venture from there for hiking and wildlife viewing. We plan to hike the approximately 4 miles total. Denise and Jennifer will be on hand throughout the event to provide information about the species and the geologic region that we're visiting.
We will connect participants via email to facilitate carpooling.
CHECK IN TIME AT LOESS BLUFFS WELCOME CENTER: 12:00pm
