About this Event
Start your writing year with intention, community, and a little bit of bingo.
Join the PNW Black Girls Writing Community for our 2nd Annual Author Bingo Card Party—a cozy, low-pressure space to think about what you want your writing life to look like in 2026 and turn those hopes into a playful, doable bingo board.
This isn’t about famous authors or reading challenges.
This is about you—your pages, your projects, your capacity, and the kind of writing year you actually want.
What we’ll do
Over two hours, we’ll:
- Reflect on what your writing looked and felt like in 2025
- Name what you want more (and less) of in 2026
- Walk through a simple process to build your 2026 Author Bingo card
- Squares might include tiny wins, bold goals, rest squares, creative risks, or community moments
- Share (optional) a few squares or intentions with the group
- Leave with a bingo card you can keep in your planner, notebook, or on your wall for gentle accountability all year
No “new year, new hustle” energy. Just honest conversation and practical magic.
The vibe is:
- Warm, welcoming, and low-pressure
- A mix of quiet reflection and light conversation
- Come as you are—tired, excited, unsure, in between drafts, or restarting
This event is crossposted for members of the PNW Black Girls Writing Community. Available seats will be adjusted accordingly. If your plans change, please release your ticket so someone else can join.
