The Great Beaver Moon marks the time of year for building shelter, as the wild beavers do - against the winter, against cold & frost, but also as a way of preparing for wintering. With Rowena and Filipa, in this moon cycle ceremony we will bring in song, breath and dance to move with and explore our individual wintering needs. We will be creating a simple cycle of mudras within meditative song. Mudras traditionally are gestures in Buddhist iconography, used during prayer and ritual. With gratitude and respect to this extraordinary tradition, we will create our own mudras as a form of wintering prayer. Supported by breath, inspired by song. We will lend our voices to collective harmonious easeful singing. We look forward to celebrating this fourth Super Moon, Bright moon with you.
