What:
Vision Weekends are Foresight’s annual gatherings for multidisciplinary futurists and technologists, a reunion for our global community, and a celebration of ideas, technologies, and projects aiming for flourishing long-term futures.
We host Vision Weekends to encourage top talent across biotechnology, nanotechnology, neurotechnology, computing, space, and existential hope to burst from tech silos, and convene to leverage their expertise towards positive futures. Hosted in two countries, over two weekends, our Vision Weekends gather researchers, builders, designers, entrepreneurs, funders, and more.
Come for the ideas, and make friends across disciplines, generations, and continents who are similarly on the path to creating positive futures. Join panels, listen to fireside chats and lightning talks, focus groups, mentorship hours, tech demos, and more. Additionally, stay for the festivities.
Expect engaged discussion on topics including cryonics, DeSci, private ML, computational biology, LEV, space exploration, BCIs, WBEs, AGI, foundational science funding, rejuvenation, molecular nanotechnology, chemputing, computer security, prediction markets, charter cities, and more.
On Day 1 we’ll take stock of the tech stack of today (and tomorrow).
On Day 2 we’ll shape those default tech trajectories toward futures of Existential Hope.

Includes Saturday (December 2) daytime program at the Internet Archive and Sunday (December 3) program at the The Birdhouse Villa in Berkeley Hills.

Foresight Core Ticket:
Includes access to pre-drinks on Friday, December 1st where you get a chance to meet the speakers. Access to VIP Gatherings at a villa on Saturday night, December 2nd, and access to our day time program December 2nd & 3rd.

FORESIGHT INSTITUTE
Our community is where breakthrough technologies are born. For the last 37 years, Foresight Institute, based in California, has been gathering and supporting the thinkers shaping the edge of science and tech innovation. Nanotechnology, AGI, smart contracts, prediction markets, and specific longevity approaches: name it, we were there for it.
Foresight’s programs focus on advancing molecular nanotechnology, biotechnology for longevity, and computer science, but our work extends cross disciplinarily into other related tech fields, such as space, neurotech.
We are a positive-future-movement, composed of multiple, specialized, and coordinated sub-projects. Each of them a piece of the puzzle of our grand future.
Our membership has grown virtually over the decades. However, we are expanding our horizons and want to meet our global community in person. So, please join us at our Vision Weekends held in France and/or the US for a fast-forward dip into flourishing futures and enjoy comprehending the many intelligent, ground-breaking innovations, built by our exceptional international community.
