“The Vision Quest: A Sacred Journey of Purpose and Connection”
The Vision Quest, or “Hanblecha,” is one of the most profound rites of passage in the Native American Red Road tradition. It is an ancient initiation ceremony designed to reconnect you with yourself, the Earth, and the Great Spirit that resides in all things.
For 4 days and 3 nights, you sit alone in nature, fasting without food or water, within a sacred space created by the medicine wheel and your tobacco prayers. In this solitude, you surrender to the wisdom of the land and open yourself to receiving clarity, visions, and a deeper sense of purpose for your life.
This is not just a physical experience but a deeply spiritual and transformative journey—an opportunity to let go of old patterns, listen to your soul, and align with your truest essence.
Praying on these sacred lands of Australia, in the lineage of the Roots of the Earth, is a blessing and a privilege. It is an invitation to walk a path of respect, connection, and reverence for the Earth and the wisdom she holds. This sacred ceremony is held by our teacher Heriberto Villa Senior , an incredible elder and wisdom keeper from Mexico.
The Vision Quest isn’t about finding something outside of you—it’s about awakening the truth that already lives within.
