The 2022 State election is fast approaching and with the Liberal Party’s current term dominated by COVID-19, this is your opportunity to hear directly from the Premier about his vision for the business community.

Business SA invites you to the second of our Vision for the State pre-election luncheon series at Adelaide Oval, featuring keynote speaker the Hon Steven Marshall MP, Premier of South Australia. Joining us will be an engaging panel of South Australian business leaders, including Dino Vrynios, Phil Scardigno and Heather Croall. Facilitating this engaging and informative event will be Jessica Adamson, Journalist and former Channel 7 News reporter.

Join us on Wednesday 16 February 2022 between 12pm to 2.00pm in the William Magarey Room at Adelaide Oval for a two-course luncheon with drinks included. Followed by networking drinks between 2.00pm to 3.00pm.

Panel of Speakers:

Steven Marshall is South Australia’s 46th Premier. He was elected to the South Australian Parliament as the Member for Norwood in 2010. His electorate has since been renamed Dunstan. In 2013, Mr Marshall became the Leader of the Liberal Party and the State Opposition. He led the Party to victory on March 17, 2018.

Prior to entering public life, Mr Marshall worked in the manufacturing industry, running his family’s furniture manufacturing business Marshall Furniture from 1997. Mr Marshall was born and educated in Adelaide, South Australia. He completed his secondary schooling at Immanuel College before studying at the University of South Australia.

Mr Marshall is a patron and ambassador of numerous sporting and community organisations.

Philip Scardigno

Founder, Innovator, Entrepreneur

An entrepreneur by nature and more than 30 years’ experience as a manufacturer in South Australia, Phil Scardigno commenced his career in a local start-up manufacturing company during late 1990s.

Currently manufacturing medical wipes listed with the TGA, consumer and industry wipes, Phil’s latest entrepreneurial success The Hygiene Co. has built the capability to not only service a number of industry needs with locally Australian made wet wipes, but to reduce more than 10,000 tonne of plastic landfill each year from their plastic free wet wipe plant.

As passionate innovators and local manufacturers, this journey for The Hygiene Co. and their founders is just starting.

Dino Vrynios

Architect, Director, Visionary

Having completed his Master of Architecture in 2008, Dino is a registered Architect in South Australia and Victoria and in 2019, Dino joined his partner Sara Horstmann at the helm of Das Studio.

Dino is a fierce advocate for professional and social causes, serving the Australian Institute of Architects and the Adelaide Economic Development Board, co-founder and Creative Director of the Festival of Architecture and Design, and board member of disability-led arts organisation Tutti.

As an emerging professional and business leader in South Australia, Dino was the recipient of the 2021 Australian Institute of Architects, National and State Emerging Architect Award, Indaily’s 40 under 40 in 2020 and Resilient Business Leader award winner, and recipient of the Property Council's Future Leader award.

Heather Croall

Director, CEO, Innovator

Heather Croall is an experienced CEO and Director known as a visionary in the creative sector who delivers innovative festival programs, new audiences and organisational growth.

Under her leadership, every festival Heather has run has seen an increase in turnover, been met with high critical acclaim, delivered increased ticket sales and expanded audience demographics. Heather embraces adaptive and agile leadership methodologies and is known for implementing innovative digital platforms and systems that drive change and growth.

Heather is a filmmaker and has produced and directed documentaries for SBS, ABC, Ch 4 and BBC.

Jessica Adamson

Journalist and News Presenter

Jessica Adamson has forged a reputation as one of the state’s finest journalists after 24 years in television news. She is a presenter, facilitator and one of South Australia’s most sought after MC’s. Jessica was the 7NEWS crime reporter for more than a decade – but amassed a great deal of experience covering national and international stories for the Seven Network. In 2015 Jessica was announced the Best Broadcaster of the Year at the SA Press Club Awards. Jessica has won a number of other awards in her time at Seven, including SA Journalist of the Year (2006). Jessica was 7NEWS weekend presenter from 2014-2020 and was without peer in the ratings battle.

Attendees with a SA Health-approved medical exemption must show their Certificate of Exemption and a negative COVID-19 test result no older than 72 hours prior to entry.
