About this Event

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon at the Vision Film Premiere on Saturday, May 18th in partnership with LOVEtheLOU, Guild Mortgage, and the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University!!!

WHAT'S THE FILM ABOUT?

Vision is a short fiction film about Louis, a 17-year-old visual artist from an under-resourced community. A mysterious man gives him a pair of sunglasses that empowers him to see the potential around him. Will he use the newfound vision for good?

IS THE FILM FAMILY FRIEND?

Yes . . . the film is appropriate for all ages.

AGENDA: Lots of great happenings with doors opening at 1:00 PM! See the full agenda below.

ATTIRE: Come casual or dressed up. A red carpet and step-and-repeat awaits your arrival.

ENTRANCE: The afternoon begins in the Steinberg Hall and doors on both sides of the building will be accessible.

PARKING:

See map below for reference.

Use the underground East End Parking Garage at the corner of Forsyth and Wrighton Way (there is a stoplight directly at that intersection). All visitor parking is FREE (clearly marked by purple circles on the first floor).

Use the elevator or stairs closest to Forsyth which will take you directly next to the Weil Building. You can walk through Weil to cross the courtyard to Steinberg (if raining) or walk around Weil to get to the location.

HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY:

Elevators and ramps are easily accessible in all buildings. You have two options to arrive for the first event at Steinberg Hall . . .

1) Park in the underground East End parking garage and use the elevator closest to Forsyth. You will exit near the Weil building which you can either go through if raining or move around the building outside to get to Steinberg.

2) Use the brick circle roundabout above the underground East End parking garage to be dropped off. Steinberg will be down the walkway a bit on the right-hand side.

THE EVENT IS TAKING PLACE IN TWO BUILDINGS?

Yes . . . the afternoon begins with the screening, Q&A, and panel discussion in the Steinberg Auditorium followed by poster signing, photo gallery, and hors d'oeuvres reception taking place only a handful of steps away across the courtyard in the Weil Building.

ARE TICKETS REFUNDABLE?

Tickets are nonrefundable but can be given to someone else to attend the event.
