Visible mending is the art of repairing a garment through using decorative stitching that will be seen on the outside of a garment.
Kate of Three Little Birds Sewing Co, will teach you the basic hand stitches to get you started and talk you through techniques to repair holes and tears in your clothing. Bring a garment that you want to repair, or practice stitching on fabric provided to make a patch for future use. These embroidery techniques will prolong the life of your favorite clothing, adding sustainability and beauty to your wardrobe. No previous sewing experience required.
